The DVD/Bluray cover art for Star Trek has been released.  I have to admit, I’m not really impressed.  I’m buying the movie of course but I really expected there to be better art on the cover.  You can see the boxart yourself on November 17th when the movie hits stores.

New poster is out for season 4 of Heroes.  Doesn’t really tell us much though. Also, there is a new trailer out, we’ll try and link it. Finally, its worth checking out this article from IGN.  Pretty good ideas on how to make Heroes better this season.

24 Casting News

Some pretty interesting news for all you 24 fans out there. David Anders, of Heroes and Alias fame, has joined the cast of 24 to be at the very least a recurring character. He played the roles of Julian Sark in Alias and the immortal Adam Monroe in Heroes. At the very least Anders has been quite entertaining in his roles as his characters have been able to portray equal parts creepiness and humor.

First Look at Smallville’s Metallo

TV Guide has posted a first look at Brian Austin Green as John Corben aka Metallo who will appear in an upcoming two-episode arc on “Smallville” starting with the September 25 premiere. Once you see the picture, you’ll think Metallo’s appearance is pretty much a rip-off of Tony Stark’s look in the Iron Man films.

Credit goes to the guys over at Topless Robot for this one. The question has to be asked, what the hell are the people is the special effects department thinking with this craptacular effect? I was holding out hope for a return to greatness in Heroes… but I think thats dwindling now. Please prove me wrong Tim Kring!
